Homebase · last updated 14 October 2026
Homebase is a private application built and used by one household. It is not a commercial service, it is not offered to the public, and there is no way to register for it. These terms exist because Google requires a published set of terms for applications that request access to a Google account, including private ones.
Only the two members of the household it was built for. Accounts are not issued to anyone else and there is no way for a member of the public to obtain one.
Nothing is sold through Homebase. There are no fees, no subscriptions and no payments of any kind.
Where the household grants it, Homebase uses their Google account to show them their own information. The permissions in use today are read-only, and the privacy policy sets out exactly which they are, which services process the information, and what is planned but not yet in use. Any capability needing broader permission would be requested separately and explicitly, and any change to a calendar requires a person to approve that specific change first. Access can be withdrawn at any time from Google account settings.
Homebase is provided as it is, for private use, with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, incomplete or wrong at any time. It is a convenience for organising a household and should not be relied on as the only record of anything that matters. Appointments live in Google Calendar, which remains the record.
These terms may change as the application changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
